This product is a pattern made and tested by FurryBay.com to provide a basic template to Cover our Sam the Carney Sponge Head. If your character has more that one color, you just draw them on the pattern before you make your cuts. We have color coded, numeric coded and supplied plenty of registration marks to help simplify this pattern with more instructions on our site.

Please note that you may need to adjust the pattern slightly to fit your own individual style. You are welcome to trace and alter the pattern shapes to suit your own sponge head!

Tips: Hot glue: cut the pattern tight and check the fit as you go.
Hand sew: Most hand sewers cut the pattern about a quarter inch from the edge.
Machine sew: Most machine sewers cut the pattern about a half inch or more from the edge, some places will be to tight to get into a machine, so some parts may haft to be hand sewed.
Check the fit as you go, if you make your skin to big you can always cut the skin down the middle and take out what you need to make the skin tight before hot glueing to the sponge.
